Meet Kia Frazier-Williams

Educator, Interventionist, Instructional Coach, Educational Consultant, and Founder of KFW Learning Solutions

Kia Frazier-Williams

This month marks my 13th year in education. I started as a paraprofessional, then worked as a classroom teacher, interventionist, and instructional coach before starting KFW Learning Solutions.

Most of that time has been spent with students who were behind — kids who could sit through a grade-level lesson and still not get it, because something earlier never landed. My job is to find that missing piece, teach it clearly, and keep checking until it sticks.

Today I work with K–8 students one-on-one and in small groups, and I partner with schools and community organizations on intervention, assessment preparation, progress monitoring, and coaching.

Why KFW Exists

Too many students move forward with unfinished learning. KFW Learning Solutions identifies the skills they have missed, teaches them clearly, and gives families, schools, and community partners practical next steps for continued support.

What I Believe

Connection first. Growth follows.

Relationships

Kids work harder for adults who know them. I learn who a student is before I push them.

Planned Lessons

Each session is built from assessment results and the specific skill the student needs next.

The Whole Child

How a student feels about school affects how they learn, so both get attention.

Skills Build Confidence

Confidence comes from getting things right. Closing the gap is how students start believing they can do it.

Working Together

Parents, teachers, and partners hear what I'm seeing and what they can do at home or in class.
